Holy ow! Nad’s Body Wax Strips Review

Owowowowowowowow.

Now, to be fair, I’d be saying ow regardless. (:

So, I normally buy Parissa quick and easy wax strips for leg and body, but they didn’t have them when I went to target!  The agony.

Parissa comes with sixteen strips (8 double sided ones), and a bottle of oil for afterwards.  I’ve always done pretty well with them, never had any tearing or cuts or anything from the strips, and the result lasts a pretty long time.

The only parissa products they had at target were like, the microwavable wax, no thanks, and some other strips.

So,I picked up a box of Nad’s (lol). To my surprise, and joy, it was cheaper to buy these ones, and they had more strips (10 double sided ones).  When I got home, opened it up, there is actually two packets of moist towelettes for before, to numb you up a bit, then two for after to calm and soothe.  Nice!

These actually worked really really well, and I’m totally pleased.

I like to use prewaxed strips because there’s no mess.  You take the strips between your hands and rub them quickly, making friction to warm up and melt the wax.  When you pull the strips apart, if you hear a popping noise, take note of that for your next strip.  That means you didn’t warm it up enough.

Lay the strip against the area, and rub in the direction of the hair growth.  Pull the skin taut, then quickly pull strip in opposite direction.  It’ll hurt.  but it could hurt MUCH worse, let me tell ya.  Honestly, I laugh when I do it.  I’d rather laugh than cry, and it’s just funny to me what girls go through, and what I put myself through.

Anyways, five stars for this product. (:
